Text Messager!

Thad was playing with Adam's cell phone last night, pushing buttons as usual. I hear my phone do its notification that I had a text message. I open my phone to find Adam's cell phone was the one to send me a message. Thad had figured out with all his button pushing to send me a text message with the message "A". That is all the text said but I'm sure it was very important since it came from Thad!

Dog Dog!!!

Our neighbor's house has been for sale for a few months. Ever since this sign went up Thad has to go see the dog dog a few times a week. He see's the dog and goes running for the sign. Sometimes he'll give it a good pat and sometimes he gives it a kiss. He loves this dog dog!!!

Play date

Thad had his first friend over today to play!!!! Jesse (Rhonda's grandson) came over for a few hours to play with Thad.

Thad loves his buddy Jesse and wants to hug and kiss him any chance he gets!!!! I was very proud of Thad because he didn't try to hit Jesse at all!!!!!! I think he's starting to get over the "hitting phase."

They watched cartoons together on the couch and of course fought over a few toys! They both wanted the toy that the other was playing with. If Jesse stopped playing with his car, Thad went to grab it and then Jesse would want it back!

We brought the little picnic table inside so they both could eat lunch together. We had green beans, hot dogs, pears and a go-gurt for dessert. Of course when I ate my pasta for lunch they both wanted bites of mine!!!

They had so much fun playing today. Both of them took a little nap in the morning and played when they got up. When I would ask Jesse a question his response was Yes to everything, with his little tiny voice! He kept going around saying Hi to Chauchi or to a toy. If Jesse went in a different room, Thad would call for him and say Jessseeeeee and then go running after him. They are too cute together!

Safety Chair

This is Thad's safety chair. When we tell him "let's go change your diaper" or "it's time for bed" this is what he does. He runs to the chair crawls up the ottoman and sits like a big boy in his chair. We let him do this for a few minutes then he knows it's time for bed or a diaper change!

Colorado Scenery.........Blessing 38

Today we took a drive in the Mountains. We went on Gold Camp Road. The weather was perfect and so was the scenery! We stopped off three times and each time it was harder and harder putting Thad back in the van! He loves being outside and did not want to get back in the car. At the end of our ride we ended up at this waterfall. When we got to the top he started taking his shirt off and saying bath! He loves water and wanted to play in it.

We are lucky to live in Colorado where we get to see this everyday. Colorado is a great place to live and you never get lost with the Mountains!!

Thad found a few treasures along the way. He found a stick, rock and pine cone.

Thad's First Picture

Thad see's me take so many pictures that he is becoming a pro. He will grab the camera, turn it on and point it up like he's taking a picture. He took a picture of his book and lawn mower!

It's Friday!!!!

I love being home on Friday's!!! It's our day to hang out and have fun. So far we have danced around being silly, played in the pots and pans and made a yummy peanut butter Cheerio snack.

Thad found a new toy, its funny how he has all the toys he could want and he still finds the bowls, spoons, etc. to play with!

My Little Helper!

Thad loves to help out around the house. He likes putting the clothes from the washer to the dryer and of course pushing the buttons. He pushes them and tells himself no, no, no!

He also likes putting the dishes from the dishwasher to the cabinet. He is such a little helper!!!

One of his favorite things to do is to throw away his diaper after we change him. It bothers him if it sits on the kitchen floor for a few minutes. He is so proud of himself for doing his little chores around the house!

Seeing Angels........

This morning in church Thad looks up above our heads and says Emma's name three times!!!!! It is so cute to hear him say Emma. It also gave me goosebumps because what if he really saw her there flying above our heads. It gives me chills............

Blessing 36........Thad's Cardiologist Appt

Thad had a GREAT cardiologist checkup today! It had been 6 months since we last saw Dr. Brames. He still has a little narrowing in his aortic arch which is to be expected with his Coarctation surgery. His mitral valve was still doing good. They will continue to monitor it. He doesn't go back for 9 months!!!!!! Yikes, that's a long time for mommy to wait but it is also a good sign that he is doing so well.

He was a good boy during his echo and exam. He didn't have to have an EKG which was good because he doesn't like all those leads they put on him!

Thad won't get the synagis shot this year but Dr. Brames said he is doing so good that he doesn't need it. He will get a flu shot and that should help him through this flu season.

We are so thankful that he is doing so well. God is so good and has a special plan for Thad. We are so blessed to have Thad in our lives and to show the true work of God.

Uhhhhhh Ohhhhhhh...........

..... as Thad comes running out of the kitchen. He runs to me and points to the kitchen saying uh oh over and over!!! I go in the kitchen and this is what I found.......

It looks like he wanted a little snack and dumped the whole box of Cheerios! Then he decided to play in the Cheerios. Silly boy!

Balloon Festival

Thad and I woke up extra early on Saturday and went to Memorial Park for the Balloon Festival. We went with Natalie and Leif and met my Aunt and Uncle there. It was a early morning but Thad had fun with all the 'balls' as he calls them!

The Noah's Arc was probably my favorite and definately Thad's favorite. He spotted the giraffe first thing. He really did have a fun time but in this picture he looked a little mad!!!

The Engergizer bunny was also there! This bunny was huge. They said it was actually taller than the Statue of Liberty!

The balloons never launched because of the weather- it was cloudy and foggy. Hopefully they will be able to launch either Sunday or Monday. They also have a balloon glow at dark so we'll see if we make it to that. We had a long day!!!!!

Long weekend.........Blessing 35

Yeah for the long weekend! I get 4 days off from work. We plan on going to the Balloon Festival, the zoo and just relaxing! In Memorial Park they do a hot air balloon launch. They launch at 7 am so it will be an early morning tomorrow!!! Then Saturday night they have the balloon glow at dark. I think Thad will love seeing all the balloons and lights.
