Emma's Free Tuition For Poor Children

I haven't posted about Emma's Free Tuition School in India for a long time. If you want to read more about it or even make a donation for school supplies, bibles, etc. there is a pay pal link on this website. Adam's brother Jason met Pastor Samuel Kota from India. Samuel has started a free school named after Emma. Click here to view the information or make a donation. I also wanted to thank Jason for all of his work and support to Emma's school and to Samuel who continues to help the children in India. He has started such a great service to these children and is helping them get a free education.

Slip-n-slide and sleepovers!

Thad's good friend Chloe from daycare turned 2 last week and had her pool party this weekend. She had a slip-n-slide which was a big hit! Thad loved it especially when daddy gave him a little push down the slide.
They also played in the pool to cool off.

Thad enjoyed a piece of cake. He was a food thief and would steal other kid's frosting when they weren't looking! He would see a plate sitting on a chair and just help himself with a bite of hotdog or hamburger!

He also had two friends spend the night last night! Jayden and Johnny (I work with their mom) spent the night and they had fun fun fun! They played outside on bikes and watched movies. Thad just followed them around all night. Whatever they did Thad did. He really had a fun time and they are such good kids.
The first thing Thad said this morning was "Where'd my friends go?" He was sad to see them go home!!

Fun pictures

I got a new toy for an early birthday present! I have never really been into iPod's or any other music device but then I was introduced to the iPod touch! This thing is so neat! I can watch movies, play games, view pictures, listen to movies, check my email and the list goes on and on! One of the app's I downloaded was a PBS photo editor. It has about 10 different cartoons that you can choose from and insert them into your photo. I made this one from Curious George with Maddix, Thad and Josh.
I am now addicted to editing all of Thad's photo's and inserting all these crazy characters! Once I'm done with it I just email it or upload it to the computer and it's done. I am having too much fun with this new toy!

Family Pictures

Last weekend we took more family pictures! Allison from AlliE potography did a great job! We went downtown to railroad tracks and old buildings. We always take family pictures at Sears so it was fun to get outside and do something different!

Thad did really good. He lasted about an hour and then he didn't want to take anymore pictures! She would ask him to look a certain way or to smile and he would tell her "No" We knew it was time to go after that!

I made these a little brighter for something fun!
We practiced Thad's smile the day before because all he wants to do is smile with his eyes squinted and closed half way! In most of the pictures he was squinting but it was still cute.

This one is probably my favorite! She is so creative with the camera and took some good shots.
She took over 800 pictures in an hour! Of course alot of them were of the same shot or trying to get Thad to smile. We ended up with 200 on the CD.
Now I have to decide which one's to print! I have such a tough time deciding on pictures so I guess I'll have to order them all :)
If you live in Colorado Springs I highly recommend AlliE photography! She has a fan page on facebook and you can see other pictures she's taken. She'll go anywhere in Colorado Springs and she gives you the copyright and CD so you can print as many as you want.
