Kansas trip

The boys and I went back to Russell for a week.  We had such a fun week doing fun things and seeing lots of people! First on the agenda was the Sternberg Museum in Hays.  We went a few years ago and they have changed it so much since then.  The animals all move and make noises.

This one was Thad's favorite!

The big T-rex was fun to see.  Every few minutes he moved his head and made loud sounds! It scared Ollie a little but he still liked it.

They have a neat kids section where you can see snakes, lizards and fish.

There is also an area where the kids can dig for skeletons.  This was fun too.

Thad had swim lessons while we were home.  He loves the water and I could see a big difference by the end of the week.

He loves going down the slides and jumping off the diving board.

The fair was in town for the week.  Thad found a turtle to race in the turtle races.

His poor turtle didn't even move from the yellow circle!
He kept asking "Why isn't my turtle moving?"

Oh small town fairs!
There wasn't a whole lot of rides they could do but they found about 4 they could ride.

Thad loved this slide.  He went down time after time!

He also liked the swings and rode these 3 times back to back.  It made me sick just watching him!

I got to see Jessica, my best friend growing up.  We have been friends since grade school and it's always good to go back and see her!

Ollie had fun feeding the sheep a bottle

My brave Thad.....he rode a sheep for the first time.  I asked him a dozen times if he was sure he wanted to ride one and he said YES!

Getting all geared up.....

He lasted for about 2 seconds before he was on the ground.  He cried and has a few scrapes but I'm glad he did it.  I had a hard time letting him do this! I don't think he will be riding another sheep anytime soon.

Andrew had fun looking at all the animals.

Brothers being brothers.  Notice the little one is picking on the big one!

Thad also did the tractor pull.  He did really good and made it to the first cone.

On our way home we stopped in Oakley and saw the buffalo statue.  We had a great time and the boys love going to Grandma and Papas house.  Thad gets very emotional when we have to leave.  He would stay with Grandma all summer if we let him.

Our boys

It might be loud and crazy in our house and times but I wouldn't trade it for anything.  I love being at home everyday with these wild boys.

Thad starts Kindergarten in 3 weeks.  I'm already sad about him being gone all day.  He's my little helper and we will miss him.  I know Ollie will really miss his brother.

Thad has such a sweet and kind heart.  He is so considerate of others, always saying please and thank you and is so worried about others feelings.

Ollie is ALL BOY! He is rough and tough and loves to play with balls, trucks and dinosaurs.  We call him our sweet and sour boy! He can be so sweet with his little voice and then turn around and hit poor Thad and throw his 2 year old tantrum.  We love it!

I can't wait to see what type of personality Mr. Andrew has.  He is so mellow right now and just goes with the flow.  I'm sure his brothers will show him the ropes.

Andrew

Here is Andrew's 4 and 5 month pictures.

Each month I'm getting a picture of him in this chair with this owl to show how much he's grown!

At 4 months, we was really good with lifting his head for tummy time.

He rolled over for the first time on his 4 month birthday! Thad was the only one who saw it and he was really excited.  I was in the kitchen and he came running in telling me Andrew just rolled over for the first time.  Right now he just rolls from his back to front but he's getting closer to rolling everywhere.

He loves his exersaucer and has fun pushing all the buttons and lights.

He is such a chunky baby! He is in 6-9 month clothes and has fat rolls everywhere.

He watches everything we eat! He tried reaching for our food and wants his own.  We started him on rice cereal last night and he wasn't too sure what to think.  He spit most of it out but got a little taste of it.

Love his little dimples! Andrew is such a happy boy.  He loves to snuggle and be carried everywhere.  Thad and Ollie are so good with him and can get him to smile and laugh.  We are so blessed to have Andrew be a part of our family.

Dinosaur Resource Center

We went to Woodland Park to the Dinosaur Resource Center.

Ollie is really into dinosaurs right now so he had fun looking at all of them!

We went with some friends- Ben, Ollie, Sarah and Thad

They liked the dinosaur movies.

Andrew is such a good baby. He gets toted all over and loves it!
