It's a boy!

We had our 19 week ultrasound today. It was a day we were looking forward to for a long time. My stomach was in knots all day. We met with Maternal Fetal Medicine doc's and they looked our little baby over from head to toe. It was suspenseful waiting to see the results. I was looking at the ultrasound technician as she's viewing the heart trying to read her face. She didn't say anything which I know they aren't supposed to until the Doctor comes in. Once she left the room it was a long 10 minutes until she came back with the Doctor. He gave us lots of relief when he told us everything looked good. He also took a look at his heart. He didn't see anything that was alarming to him. All chambers were the same size and all other areas looked normal. He said we aren't out of the woods just yet because during the 2nd trimester things could develop. But.....as of right now things are looking good and he said to keep doing what we were doing. Prayers are definitely working! God is so good and this baby is going to be just fine. He is in the 76 percentile and is growing good. He is about 11 oz. - almost the size of a pop can. He wasn't shy about showing us he was a boy! He was proud of what he has!
Cute profile picture with his hand by his face.
He was very active today and being a little stubborn for the pictures. We had to tilt the chair back and turn on my side to get him to cooperate. It was fun to see him move on the ultrasound and feel it at the same time.
Thad and my parents came with us to our appointment. Thad was excited to see his baby on the TV screen. We really appreciate all your prayers and support during this pregnancy. We meet with our cardiologist Dr. Brames in 3 weeks. I think after we meet with him I will feel a little more confident. I know everything will be okay regardless but I want his expertise to tell us his heart is perfect. Please continue to pray for our little guy.
