Krause FamilyYesterday we walked in our 3rd buddy walk with the Krause family! It's always a fun time and lots of people gather together to support kids/adults with Down Syndrome. Peter is the youngest Krause but not for long. By the beginning of next year he will be a big brother!
The buddy walk is a three mile walk around Manitou Springs. The weather was perfect. Thad rode in the stroller most of the time but he did walk a little until he started running and making mommy nervous with all the people. They give away prizes if you are the first to bring them what they ask for. When the announcer called out something Elmo, I scooped Thad up and ran to the stage. Thad was wearing his elmo hat so it was perfect!He was so happy he won as he held his prize. He kept saying Elmo and pointing to his new prize!
As you cross the finish line they hand out ribbons!
