Oliver was baptized on July 24th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship.
Oliver did so good on his big day. He had this adorable outfit that his Godmother Sue got for him. He looked so cute in his baptismal outfit and little hat! Both Emma and Thad were baptized in the hospital before their heart surgeries so it was so nice to have a baptism in the church. It was a special day for our family and we are so blessed!
Our sweet family!
Thad wanted to be in the picture too and put on a big cheesy grin!
Almost time to be baptized
Thad was sitting in the pew with Grandma and Grandpa but wanted to be with us up front so he came running to us with one shoe on and one shoe off. It was cute. In this picture it looks like he is hiding from Fr. Mark!
Oliver was sleeping up until this point when Fr. Mark poured Holy Water on his head. He woke up and squirmed a little but he never cried. He is such a good baby. He loved the oil rubbed on his head and he smelled so good.
Thad was proud of his little brother.
Tony and Sue (my dad's brother) are my Godparents and now they are Oliver's Godparents too. We are so lucky to have them be such a big part of our lives. They are always there for us and are willing to help us out anytime we need them. Thank you Tony and Sue for EVERYTHING you do for us!

We had a BBQ at our house with family and friends after his baptism. It was a great day and one we will remember for the rest of our lives!
Thank you to all of our family and friends who came to Oliver's baptism and shared his special day with us.
