Here is a video of Thad laughing at Chauchi. He sure does love his pug!

Lost memories :(
My goal for Thad's first year is to make sure I take at least one picture a day for 365 days. Most of the time I take like 15-20 per day but I can't help it. Taking pictures of him is addictive (kind of like blogging!). I am creating a book through shutterfly that will have one full year of pictures of him- one from every day. I am almost half way done and the book is looking great! You can gradually see him changing each day.
I have also been recording him with my ancient video camera and I am on my second tape. I went to record him the other day and I could tell something was wrong with the tape! The tape was stuck in the video camera. Adam finally got it out but it was too late, the film was cut in half! I am sick to my stomach about this because it has the past two months of him on it. I am hoping we can get it spliced back together so I need to call a few places to see if this is possible. On this tape was his first laugh, the first time he tried cereal, his first time being in his new exersaucer and so much more!
Has anyone else ever had this happen to a tape? Is there hope for me?!?!?!?!?!?

Two new cousins for Thad
Adam's sisters both had their babies within one week of each other! Jill and Brett had little Maddix Cash on June 19th at 12:38 pm. He weighed 4 lbs 14 oz. He was a very little guy! We went to Denver to see them and I couldn't believe how small he was. Jill and Maddix are both doing good and are now home. Thaddeus was able to hold his little cousin so he thought he was a big boy!

Jena and Matt had Joshua Dean on June 25th at 1:34 pm . He weighed 7lbs 2 oz. We also went to Denver to meet Thad's new cousin. He is a little cutie too! Jena is still in the hospital and hopes to get out on Saturday. Little Joshua was admitted to the NICU last night because he needs a little help while he is eating. He needs to learn to suck, swallow and breathe. He was born a few weeks early and is estimating to be around 35 weeks(gestation).
Please say extra prayers for both Maddix that he continues to eat well and gain weight and that Joshua gets out of the NICU soon and gets to go home.

I can't wait for Christmas to see all the babies and have them play with each other. It will be a full house at Wayne and Kathy's but will definately be worth it!

Sleeping In......
Thad, Chauchi and I like to sleep in! We sometimes don't get out of bed until 9:30 or so!!!! This morning I got up around 8ish and my boys Thad and Chauchi decided they didn't want to get up yet. I snapped this photo of them around 9:20 and they were still sound asleep.
Its funny because Chauchi used to get out of bed as soon as I did but now that Thad is here he likes to stay close by him. Chauchi will stay in bed with Thad until I get him up. I guess he is Thad's protector and wants to stay close by.
This picture is very true on how Thad sleeps and Chauchi too! I feel bad for Adam because he has a little sliver of the bed, then I sleep in the middle, and then Thad sleeps beside me. Chauchi sleeps wherever he wants, on Adam's pillow, the bottom of the bed, on my pillow, or in between Adam and I. I guess you can say we have a family bed!!!!!!

Toys, Toys, Toys
It's amazing how many toys there are to keep babies entertained. Thad got a few new toys within the last two weeks which he LOVES! He got a Baby Einstein exersaucer. The seat swivels all around so he can look at all the bright and fun toys. He likes to eat the puppet and is figuring out how to push the buttons to make sound. It's nice becuase I can put him in it and get a few things done around the house. He also likes it because he is eye level with Chauchi and they like to have stare downs. Thad lights up everytime he sees his little pug!
My friend Natalie got him a little squishy ball that rattles which he likes to play with too. He gets a little violent with it and swings it and hits himself in the head (good thing it's soft!) He likes to stick his tongue through the holes. The best thing about it is it's dishwasher safe so I can really get all the germies off it!!!!!

Thad's Cardiologist Check up
Yesterday (Thursday) Thad had his cardiologist check up. I was nervous going into it because it had been 6 weeks since we last saw Dr. Brames. Of course Dr. Brames put all my worries away when he said "he looks great!" The echo was good, his aortic arch did show a tiny bit of narrowing but not enough to do anything about it. He said it is to be expected to have a little narrowing. During the echo's Thad likes to help Alicia with the wand. I guess he's been through enough of them he could probably do it himself!
Dr. Brames also said his mitral valve looked good and said hopefully it is years down the road before we will have to do anything with the valve. Yea!!!!!!!! Thad is officially off all his medicines!!! That is a good thing because Thad knew when the syringe was coming and would close his lips so I couldn't get to his mouth! He is weighing in at exactly 18 lbs. I was guessing around 20 lbs since he has been gaining weight like crazy lately but maybe he'll start to slow down on his weight. He defintely isn't slowing down on eating though!!!!! His next cardiologist appointment is in 2 months!! I asked Dr. Brames if he was sure about the 2 months and he said yes so I guess he knows best! Here is a picture with Thad and our favorite cardiologist, Dr. Brames.
We are so thankful Thad is doing so well. I hope he never has to go through another heart procedure again. Thanks for all the continued support and prayers for Thad, they definately help!

Happy Father's Day
Daddy and Emma
Happy Father's Day to a great Dad. I am very lucky to have Adam as my husband and to be the father of my two children. I know Emma and Thad are very proud to have Adam as their daddy. Everytime Adam walks in the door from work and stands in front of Thad his eyes light up with a huge smile on his face and those legs get to kickin! He definately knows who his daddy is and follows his voice around the house. I'm sure he can't wait to play ball with him and of course go golfing with his daddy. I know Emma is proud of her daddy too and is looking down on him with much love. Adam is patient, caring, sincere, loving, understanding and so much more. He has taught me so much and is still teaching me things to this day. I definately wouldn't be the person I am today if he wasn't in my life. Happy Fathers Day Adam!!!!!

Here is the latest addition to our house! My Aunt and I went on a mission yesterday to find a cool sun for the peak of our house. We found this neat little place that sold lots of suns and a whole lot more! When I saw this one, I knew it was the one! It matches our house perfectly and looks good with the colors of our house. Adam was nice enough to put it up last night after his long game of softball. (What a great guy I have!)

Our New House
While Thad and I were in Kansas we had daddy hard at work! Adam finished many projects around the house including painting the outside of our house. Thanks to his mom Kathy and Wayne for coming out and helping. They brought a paint sprayer so it only took them a few days to do the whole house. The house was yellow on the front and white on all the sides and back so it definately needed a new face. Now it is a khaki green with beige trim. Adam also ripped out half of our lawn and put new sod down so now we have a nice green yard. We did a little landscaping by our porch with stepping stones and moved Emma's Garden up front instead of it being hidden in the back.
