Thad has already had two big changes in the new year! We turned his carseat around so now he is forward facing and loving it! He can see where we are going and loves looking out the window. He also likes seeing us and dropping his toys so we can pick them up and hand them to him. It is much easier putting him in the car and getting him out!
These are also his big boy shoes we just found. I have been on the hunt for shoes for him for over a month. His feet are a little fat so it was hard to find shoes to fit them. I finally found a size 5 that fits him. It makes him look like a big boy with them on!
Thad also got his first haircut today. Adam has wanted to cut his hair for a while now and I kept saying not until after he is one. I didn't want to take away his little boy look. Well it was creeping over his ears and getting rats in the back from sleeping so I gave in and we took him to Kids Cuts. This is his before picture:
When we got to the place they had a taxi seat waiting for him! He got to drive the car and watch Thomas the Train while Ms. Wendi cut his hair.
He was such a good boy during his hair cut. He didn't cry or fuss, he was happy as can be!!

They even had a little envelope packet with a lock of hair and a poloroid picture to put in it. Hopefully all his haircuts will be this good!

I know how it is having a hard time finding shoes that fit. My son, Terrel has somewhat chubby feet and he has high arches. It has gotten easier since he is in size sevens now. Dress shoes are still a challenge.
You were such a good boy during your haircut Thad! Great job! You look great! Plus you got to sit in a taxi cab seat, that's a bonus.
I'm glad you are having fun facing forward in the car. There are so many interesting things to see.

Nope. He's not a big boy yet!! He still looks like a little guy to me!! He is just better groomed now!! But his big boy shoes and front facing car seat do make him look older...
Awwwh... He is so darn cute, I just wanna squeeze him! What are these shoes and where did you find them. I have same problem.
