Thad is definitely one of a kind. He knows how to be sweet, loving and just plain ornery! He knows what buttons to push of mine and knows when I need an extra hug or kiss. I love the boy he is turning into. He is filled with questions and always wants to know why something works the way it does.
He has recently started feeding his baby Oliver. I caught him in the chair that I nurse Oliver in the other day with his shirt up and baby Oliver facing his chest. He even makes the slurping noises that Ollie sometimes makes! He thinks I feed Oliver through my stomach. He likes to burp his baby when he is done too. Just look at this face!
He makes us smile and is so excited about everything he does. He asks about things over 100 times and then when he knows I am tired of telling him the same thing over and over he'll say to me "stop asking mommy?" Where does he come up with these things?
Our neighbor gave him this tray and he loves being able to sit on the couch and eat his food. He doesn't do it often because we like to eat as a family at the table. Here you can see he is occupied with Garfield on tv.
Before every meal he starts us out in prayer by making the Sign of the Cross. If we are out to eat and forget to pray he always reminds us and jumps right into prayer. After he makes the Sign of the Cross he starts with the Blessed our Lord prayer. He knows it by heart but has a little trouble with the last few words. He then prays for a few things like his friends and family.
He loves his baby brother and wants to be by him all the time. He will stand by him when Oliver is in the swing or if I am feeding him he will just come over and stand so he can touch his head. I'm sure he is wondering if Oliver will ever grow up so he can wrestle and play with him!
He crawled up the other day and started reading Oliver "Curious George" He is such a good big brother.
Thad you are such a good boy. We might get frustrated with you sometimes or you get frustrated with us when we don't know what you are trying to tell us but we love you. I can't believe he will be starting preschool next week. Your teacher is going to have her hands full!
