Blessing 22

Adam was Confirmed this past Sunday. He was never Confirmed in High School so he decided it was the right time to go through Confirmation classes. Confirmation is one of the 7 Sacraments in the Catholic Church. It perfects our Baptism and Confirms our Faith. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

My Uncle Tony was Adam's sponsor.

After Mass they had a reception for all the Candidates and a picture with Bishop Sheridan.

We decided to take a family picture with the Bishop. Thad was very interested in what he was holding!

I'm very proud of Adam for following through with this and confirming his Faith in God.
