Today is Emma's second birthday. These past two years have really flown by us. Rather than spend her birthday with us she gets to spend her birthday with Jesus. I'm sure He is giving her a very special party. It's hard to believe she would be two years old. We wonder everyday what she would be doing- walking, talking, playing with toys, etc. What would she look like....I picture in my head a little blonde hair, blue eyed little 2 year old girl running all around Heaven. She is probably talking up a storm and telling Jesus lots of stories about her little brother. I know she looks down on us everyday and is helping to keep her brother strong and healthy. When we see other kids who would be the same age as Emma it makes us wonder if she would be doing the same things. We love you baby girl!

Adam, Mindy and Thad we had a good time with you all this weekend. We loved the party for Emma and it brought tears of joy to know she brought so much joy to you and everyone around her. She will always be in our hearts and I know she is a very special little girl in heaven. Like you guys we wonder what she would be doing and how she would look. I love to think about her and how she changed our lives.

I am glad we had a chance to get to know Emma for three months!! At least we had that time which was a real blessing and we have reason to celebrate her birthday every year. Make sure those brothers in law keep their word on a (sports) car for her sixteenth birthday. Driving the van will be old by then.
